Well I haven't blogged in over 6 months but it has been a crazy six months. Married, new job, moved, and many other things that make less time for blogging. But it has been amazing I haven never learned so much, read so much, and grew so much (no physically or at least not vertically). But today is a new day the bible says God's mercy and grace is made new ever morning and I'm thankful for that. Today I went on a search for some snow. I went up to the Sandia's in hopes to see a couple flakes and in fact her was about 4 inches and more in some spots. Looked so white and nice and only 25 minutes away from the apartment. It was like a whole different season on the other side of the mountain. I had a great Thanksgiving although I could go for some stuffing right now it's always nice to be home and see mi familia. I'm excited to see Lisa today as see comes home and get some lunch and then I have plenty of reading I'd like to do. Yesterday we cut down four Christmas trees in Jemez wilderness area with about 20 students it was fun I've never cut a tree down it was fun to have an axe and a flannel shirt and walk around the mountains. Until next time hopefully 6 more months won't pass this time!

44 Days of Craziness

Well We are only 44 days away from the big day! I am so excited! Lisa in Colorado right now where she is celebrating here Grams 90th birthday. Whoa! I love Lisa's grandma she is more like she is 25 than 90. I know Lisa is excited to spend some time with here family and with mine which I guess is here family now too! My Mom planned out a little ladies get together at the Brown Palace in Denver for Lisa's bridal shower. She is so stoked for it I know that for sure. It has been a crazy couple of weeks but and amazingly fun couple of weeks. We put on an event called 'The Weekend' where 220 mid to high school kids spend their weekend here at church. We had amazing worship from Kristian Stanfill and bible teaching from Chris Norman and a ton of run and games check out this link for pics

We have been thinking about where we are going to live and maybe even buying a condo! Lisa has been planning the wedding and taking care off all those stressful and the good news in the invitations are FINALLY in the mail and can't wait to hear who is going to come! I have been long boarding a ton with a group of guys who I work with. I also have been doing a podcast "Thursdays with AJ" which you can search on iTunes. It has been busy but I love it I'm excited for the summer the weather is awesome and I have a lot to look forwad to!

Monday's at the bucks!

I love our little Starbucks up here.  It is like our own little place Lisa and I come to hang out and it is nice cause it feels like no one we know knows about this place. If we end up moving after we get married it will be sad. But one thing I have definitely know is that life is about change.  You never know what a day could bring and that makes some people nervous but as for me I get excited!  If you asked me 10 years ago let alone 2 years ago what I would be up too these days, my career, my desires, I would have told you your insane but what can I say truth is truth and you can't deny it! I guess you could deny it but shouldn't. Well I'm going to go back to drinking my americano. 

Who knew I loved being a student....

I have been really excited about school lately.  As one who took for granted school in the past and spent most of his time thinking about the day when it would be over have found through the grace of God how cool it is.  I'm in the middle of several books right now from stuff for class and just some other books I have.  One class down and many many more to come but I'm going to enjoy it.  How many people get to say that!
